About Daily Tech Times

UK startups and scaleups - funding rounds, founders, growth moves and exits, explained clearly.

What we cover

How we work

We work from primary sources: Companies House filings, funding announcements from the companies and investors involved, regulator data from the FCA and British Business Bank, and the founders, investors and operators affected. Where we learn of a story from a press release or another publication, we treat it as a lead and go back to the original source before we write.

We do not republish press releases as articles, and we do not rewrite other publications' reporting. Where a claim rests on a filing, a dataset or an official announcement, we link to it.

Some of our reporting is produced with the assistance of AI tools. Every story is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. We publish under the name of the publication rather than under individual bylines.

Our approach

Daily Tech Times is a new title, launching in 2026. We are building a running record of the UK startup ecosystem: the funding rounds and valuations, the founders behind them, the moves growth-stage companies make, and how founders and investors eventually exit.

Our reporting is journalism about startups and funding, not investment advice. It is published for general information and is no substitute for advice tailored to your own circumstances.

We would rather publish fewer stories and get them right than chase every headline.

Corrections

If we have got something wrong, tell us at editor@dailytechtimes.co.uk. We will correct it, and the article will say that it has been corrected and when. Our editorial standards set out how we handle this.
